Should you update your personal R&D/ Test environment?
Yes.
If you are running a PeopleTools version 8.58.08 or lower, I would update to his latest PUM and PeopleTools Version. Not only are there many “fit and finish” items in these PeopleTools release, the third party JRE libraries have also been updated.
The “Gotta Have” item is the 8.58.09 item “APPLICATION DESIGNER PEOPLECODE EDITOR ISSUES IN PT8.58”. The PeopleCode editor has been an issue since 8.58 has been released. I’m hoping this fix gets us back to at least the functionality we had in the 8.57 editor.
