PeopleTools 8.63 On-Premises Avail

Oracle announced the availability of PeopleTools 8.63 On-Premises on October 20, 2026.

Here is a link to Sasank Vemana’s blog post: PeopleTools 8.63 Is Now Available for On-Premises Installation

Oracle makes the early patches of a new major PeopleTools release available on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) before the on-premises release. For me, that is a chance to “kick the tires” and see how it really works in a test environment—not production.

Now PeopleTools 8.63 is available for on-premises installation, not just OCI.

PeopleTools 8.63 brings new artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and integration hooks into the tools. Oracle is letting customers choose their own AI solution instead of forcing everyone into Oracle’s choice. A big part of this is your data’s security: you choose where it goes, and you are responsible for making that choice securely.

I posted about this here: AI is coming to your PeopleSoft

But… there is a lot of great stuff in the tools besides the AI hooks.   Even if you don’t immediately implement AI into your PeopleSoft, there are plenty of other benefits in the new tools.

These are some of the items that caught my attention. For the full picture, use the Cumulative Feature Overview (CFO) tool linked below to compare your current PeopleTools release with 8.63.
