Should you update your personal R&D/ Test environment?
I’m updating my personal PUM to HCM 38.
The continuing bugs in App Designer’s PeopleCode editor are annoying to be charitable. Coding requires more key and mouse work to get the same task done with the current oddities.
Since Oracle is claiming “PeopleCode Editor Issues in PT858 are resolved”, I’m hopeful that the editor is at least as good as the 8.57 PeopleCode Editor was before the 8.58 release.
I want to double-click on variables and see the whole variable highlighted. I want to drag fields into the editor without the “Record” and “Field” declarations in the string.
